Overall Impressions
Elm Sleep Hybrid is a thoughtfully-constructed mattresses that combines both memory foam and coils for a cradled and supportive sleep experience. Back, stomach or side sleepers will sleep comfortably since you have a choice of firmnesses. Back and stomach sleepers will find the luxury firm (more like a medium) most comfortable and side sleepers will probably prefer the luxury plush mattress. I am very sensitive to pressure in my hips and the this mattress offered excellent pressure relief. This mattress also sleeps very cool.

This mattress is their bigger, more luxurious model. It features 6″ of comfort foams in 3 layers for pressure relief & support. Plus-sized sleepers or people who are looking for extra support will like this mattress!
Elm Original 13 Inch Hybrid
This is their smaller, more budget-friendly model. It contains 4″ of comfort foam in 3 layers for pressure relief and support. Average-sized sleepers, kids, and budget-conscious shoppers will like this mattress!

Motion Transfer
I slept on this mattress next to my husband and there was some slight motion transfer but I did not feel much movement while I was asleep, and I am a light sleeper.
Off-Gassing
I smelled a little bit of off-gassing when I opened this mattress, but it disappeared after five days. I made sure to open my window to air out my bedroom at this time.
Edge Support
The edge of this bed compressed only a bit when I sat directly on it. This is due to the reinforced edges that are specifically engineered for good edge support. Couples will find that they can use the entire surface of the bed for sleeping because there is no compression at all when you lay flat on the mattress.
Does it Sleep Hot?
The Elm Sleep mattress slept very cool, which is due to the fact that they use graphite-infused foam that has been specifically engineered to conduct heat away from the sleeper.

A Surprising Design Benefit
This mattress is dark-colored, which is amazing for people who need to move their mattress. When moving a large, unwieldy object, they often drag on the ground and get dirty. A white mattress, especially, will have this problem. This dark mattress will hide any dirt from moving. I wish every mattress offered this feature!
